Now that kiddo is 18 months, and this being President's day, we decided it was time for him to learn some history about his forefathers.
We started by mixing some dishwashing soap with acrylic paints, about a 3 to 1 ratio. Tio was here this weekend, so utilizing his artistic skills, I asked him to use our paint mixture to paint a picture of Abraham Lincoln on the outside window of the back patio.
Jack dutifully filled in the beard, then enhanced the painting with some cherries in honor of George Washington and that famous story of him never telling a lie about chopping down the cherry tree. Obviously we were able to work some moral lessons into our project.
Here's the finished painting. Apparently the paint diluted with dishwashing soap helps make it easy to wash off the window.
