Yellow and blue make...?

What better time than Saint Patrick's day to start learning about color mixing.

Here's what we did:

Jack took a piece of white paper with yellow and blue fingerpaint blobs dotted all over it.  He swirled the paint together to discover that yellow + blue = green!

While waiting for the paint to dry, we took colorful ribbons and tied them onto hairbands, then waved them around while doing an Irish jig to Riverdance!

Back to the artwork...
After the paint dried, Jack glued shamrocks to it.

A lovely field of shamrocks.  Happy St. Paddy's day!
