Number Bunting

My creative well has been dry lately, so after we both awoke feeling groggy this afternoon, Jack and I needed to get stirring our creative juices.  We decided to make some number bunting for Jack to practice his counting.

After cutting up some construction paper and gluing on the numbers, I did a little hunt around the house for crafty bits and pieces Jack could glue on the numbers.  Here's what we came up with:

Perler Beads

Pompoms

Cheerios (Way more fun to eat these than glue them.)

Pretzel Sticks

By this time Jack's attention span was totally worn out, so I finished off our project by gluing some cut up pieces of plastic straw on the number 1.  Finally we hung up the numbers on some twine and Jack practiced pointing the numbers out that I asked him to find.
