Color Mixing with Shaving Cream

We had some shaving cream left over from our snow day activity.  This morning I had a spark of inspiration to use it for some primary color mixing.  To throw this one together, I just needed three zip-lock bags (I used the sandwich size), a can of cheap shaving cream, and some liquid food coloring (I stuck with the primary colors).  Seriously, I know my photos are never great, but these top them all as the worst ever.  As I clicked away at lightning speed, Jack pounced on top of everything in his excitement to start squidging the colors together.  Anyhow, here's what we did...

Basically, just filled the ziplocs with shaving cream, then added two of the three primary colors to each bag.  And then, squishy sqish squish....

Seriously, this was on par with the satisfaction of popping bubble wrap.  And now for a little B & A of each bag:

You know how this works...red + yellow = orange, yellow + blue = greeen, and blue + red = purple, just your basic primary color mixing activity.  I think we could pull this one out again tomorrow and enjoy it just as much as we did today.  Also, Jack has his very own camera now, and is really getting into the whole photo blogging experience.
